"Education is a progressive discovery of our own ignorance."
~Will Durant
There is value in blogging about education even though we are currently considered pre-service teachers. We can use this space as a way to share our thoughts on the world of teaching now, and reflect on what we've written as we gain more experience and knowledge in our field. As teachers, it is important to build a network, a community, a positive learning environment in which we can bounce ideas off other educators.
Brilliant ideas are meant to be shared so they can benefit others. In this technologically driven world, why not share lesson plans, creative activities, and stories about various experiences as a professional? Chances are someone out there will be thankful for your insights and advice!
Personally, I spend many hours browsing through Pinterest for arts & crafts ideas that I could use and adapt to my future classes. I already share a lot of my insights and experiences with regards to art, creativity, and generally being a positive person on my art page, but I know this blog will become an important part of my teaching career from here on in.
