2. I Will Trust in the Miracles Fate Will Send
After thinking long and hard without coming to any conclusion about what Tika had told her, Panda decided to take some of her flowers to the Shrine of Giant Roses. It was said that the tears from these roses could make ordinary flowers grow even more beautiful. The roses have had to weather many storms to grow so strong and tall. Panda hoped her flowers would be inspired by their strength.
While Panda held up her flower to catch the dripping tears of the Giant Roses, she noticed a little green creature had climbed up the opposite side of the shrine. He looked from Panda to the Giant Roses for a few moments before shuffling over and picking up one of Panda's other potted plants.
"Can I help?" he asked shyly. Panda stared at him curiously and wondered what kind of animal he was. Something weird was starting to happen to Panda's tummy as their eyes met, and all she could do was nod in reply. For the rest of the afternoon, they stood at the shrine sneaking glances at each other, trying not to be caught. There was a strange burning sensation in their hearts. It made Panda a little light-headed!
Suddenly, as they were carrying the flowers back to her garden, the little green creature cleared his throat and said, "My...my name is Dino." Panda's heart skipped a beat and she smiled, "Hi Dino, I'm Panda."
